| Abstract | The aim of this paper is to examine the impact of the new wave of technologies in the hospitality industry. Using a qualitative method, we analyze the impact of Industry 4.0 technologies on the sector and how they can help solve the challenges it faces. While the first wave of technologies focused on cost reduction and a more integrated value chain, the latest technologies go far beyond that. Industry 4.0 hospitality technologies introduce new capabilities and will have a deeper impact, such as reducing mass tourism, enhancing personalized services, and promoting sustainability. As a pioneer in technology adoption, the hospitality industry has undergone significant digital transformation and is expected to experience even more profound changes in the post-COVID world. The future of hospitality will radically evolve based on the increased use of Industry 4.0 technologies and changing consumer behavior. |
