Abstract

Universities are fundamentally transforming learning processes through the integration of IT to better prepare students for the job market. This paper focuses on the evolution of students’ IT use within an institution undergoing organizational changes and analyzes the determinants of e-skills among a sample of French university students. Findings reveal that students’ engagement in IT use enhances their digital skills. Specifically, learning by doing and collaborative learning improve students’ advanced e-skills in certain digital domains, underscoring the importance of collaborative approaches and experiential learning.
